How YADS Era Started?

Redefining Design Education: The Yogi Arts Design School Journey

Every great institution begins with a moment of realization. For Yogi Arts Design School (YADS), that moment happened in a hiring room. As a Senior Manager and Creative Head reviewing candidates for elite creative teams, Yogesh Sir noticed a glaring gap. Applicants from high-fee design academies knew how to operate software, but lacked a foundational grasp of design principles, conceptual thinking, and strategic visual storytelling.

Determined to fix this gap, Yogesh Sir stepped away from his corporate career to create a practical, high-impact alternative: an affordable academy dedicated to turning passionate creators into industry-ready professionals.

Turning this vision into reality was never a solo effort. When YADS launched in December 2022, two key leaders joined Yogesh Sir early on to help build and shape the academy into what it is today:

Avinash Sir (Lead Mentor):

Bringing 7+ years of experience in the design and education fields, Avinash Sir played an instrumental role in building the academic framework at YADS, developing hands-on curricula, and directly mentoring students to master their craft.

Shobha Ma'am (Academy Manager):

With over 20 years of experience in the education industry, Shobha Ma’am leads strategy, operations, and academy management, helping shape students’ career journeys and ensuring the overall growth of YADS.
